Chet Waterman officiating. Burial was at the Peru Cemetery. She was born in Madison County July 15, 1892, the daughter of Henry and Tillie Neidt Frank. She married Ernest Youmans on Feb. 22, 1911. She belonged to the Thursday Girls in Truro and the Oak Run Community Circle. Survivors include daughters, Thelma Armstrong of Truro, Dorothy Brooks of St. Charles and Geraldine Johnson of Bentonville, Ark.; a son, Gene of Truro; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, sister, brother, a half-brother and half-sister.

OBIT: The Winterset Madisonian - Wed., March 1, 1944, HENRY FRANK OF PERU DIED THURSDAY, Long-Time Resident of Clark County Had Lived at Peru Past Two Years, Henry Frank, a long-time resident of Clark county, died last Thursday at his home in Peru at the age of 82 years. Mr. Frank was born near Burlington on Sept. 16, 1861, the son of Christian and Katheryn Frank. When a small boy he moved with his parents to Clarke county. With the exception of a year in Colorado, his active life was spent farming in Clarke county. He had lived in Peru since 1942. In 1887 he was married to Tillie Neidt of Clarke county. They were the parents of four children, one of whom died in infancy. The wife and mother died in 1899 in Colorado; and two years later he was married to Mamie Smith of Murray. They were the parents of two children. He had been a member of the Union church since early in life. He is survived by his wife; five children, Mrs. Vance Davis of Torrington, Wyo., Ernest Frank and Mrs. Ernie Youmans of Truro, Mrs. Lawrence Simmons of Peru, and Ross Frank of Couer d' Alene, Ida.; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. William Eberet of Burlington.

Tillie Neidt died in 1899 in , , Colorado. She married Henry Frank in 1887.

OBIT: The Winterset Madisonian, 1962, ERNEST FRANK DIED AT TRURO, Death Came Suddenly Last Wednesday at His Home. Ernest G. Frank, prominent resident of the Truro community for many year, died suddenly last Wednesday, Oct. 3, at his farm home east of Truro. He was 70 years of age. Mr. Frank was a life-long resident of the Truro community. He was born there July 15, 1892, a son of Henry and Tillie Neidt Frank. His active life was spent in farming. He also worked with the P.M.A. in the county for many years. He was married Feb. 10, 1915, to Bessie Loy, who survives him.
He was a member of the Truro-Congregational Christian church. In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughter, Mrs. Darlene Johnson of Winterset and Mrs. Doris Johnson of Osceola; and two sons, Dale and Doyle Frank of Winterset. He also leaves 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Earnie Youmans of Truro and Mrs. Mamie Davis of Salinas, Calif.; and a half-brother, Ross Frank of Waterloo; and a half-sister, Mrs. Lawrence Simmons of Peru. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Truro Congregational Christian church, in charge of the Rev. Millard Marshall and the Rev. Marguerite Shepard of Lorimor. Mrs. Creger died of pneumonia on May 23 at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was born June 20, 1989 in Madison County to George and Belle (Deardorff) Youmans and attended Truro schools. She married Merrill S. Creger on April 5, 1933 and was a homemaker and a member of the World War I Auxiliary, W.S.C.S. at Truro and Truro United Methodist Church. She resided in Winterset Care Center North since 1980 and Truro prior to that time. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and three brothers. Survivors include a son, George and wife, Patty of Winterset; a sister, Opal Reed of Harlingen, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Kale Funeral Home, Truro, handled arrangements; and memorial contributions may be made to the Truro United Methodist Church. (The birth date would have to be in error as published)

OBIT: The Winterset Madisonian, 1960, 84-Year-old Resident of Peru Buried in Union Cemetery, Mrs. Mamie M. Frank of Peru died at Memorial hospital in Winterset Friday, Dec. 2. She was 84 years of age. Mrs. Frank had been a resident of Peru for 18 years. She was a native of Osceola, where she was born Feb. 16, 1876, a daughter of David and Cynthia Collier. She was married to Henry Frank in 1901. She leaves two children, Mrs. Mabel Simmons of Peru and Ross Frank of Waterloo; three step-children, Mrs. Mayme Davis of Salinas, Calif., Earnest Frank of Truro and Mrs. Edith Youmans of Truro; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, conducted by the Rev. Dale Lockhart. Burial was made in Union cemetery near Murray.
